The Torie Fund

On October 21, 2004 our daughter, Victoria “Torie” Snelgrove, attended a Red Sox celebration in Boston and was tragically killed. In her memory we have established The Victoria Snelgrove Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization to carry forward her spirit and concern for others. It was Torie’s dream to pursue a career in broadcast journalism and she was on her way to accomplishing that goal at Emerson College when she died. Since establishing The Fund we have worked hard to fulfill the mission set before us to keep Torie’s spirit alive.

Our Impact

The Victoria Snelgrove Memorial Fund awards scholarships benefiting students at East Bridgewater High School and Emerson College who have the same dreams and aspirations as Torie. In addition, we fund community projects that carry on her spirit and concern for others.

GIVING THANKS

Please know how very grateful we all are. Because of the assistance of your wonderful memorial fund, we were able to fulfill every wish. Warm jackets, winter snow boots, hats, scarves and gloves were the most requested items asked for from parents of growing children; items they could not afford to purchase themselves.
