With new skate park, memory of Victoria Snelgrove lives (and rolls) on in East Bridgewater
New skate park in East Bridgewater unveiled Sunday, and made possible by $25,000 donation by the Snelgrove family.
The memory of Victoria Snelgrove lives on.
And now, it rolls on.
Bikers, skateboarders and scooterers gathered Sunday at the East Bridgewater Town Common for the grand opening of the Victoria Snelgrove Memorial Skate Park, named for the East Bridgewater woman tragically killed 14 years ago after a Red Sox playoff game.
Snelgrove’s parents, Richard and Dianne, donated $25,000 to EB BASE for the mobile park, which can be tidily packed up in a trailer and moved to various locations.
